United Way's 2-1-1 Call Center specializes in helping people find and connect to free social service resources to improve their lives. I was asked to create and produce a document which would recruit long-term corporate funding sources. I decided to illustrate the call center services without relying on a typical client success story testimonial. Instead, the story is told through the words of the Navigation Specialist - the person trained to direct people in need to the appropriate resources. The unexpected juxtaposition of the wrong-reading then right-reading number two gets the idea started by capturing the readers attention. D.J.
